FIFTYEIGHT PRODUCTS Receives German Design Award for CEELINGS Collection
What an honor! We are so proud of receiving the German Design Award 2022 in the category ‘Excellent Product Design – Lighting’ for the CEELINGS line of canopy covers.
Recognized as one of the highest honors in the international design community, the German Design Award is voted upon by the German Design Council. The council is a collection of leading experts in branding and design.

Bright New Idea for Designer Light Fixtures
The CEELINGS collection was released in 2020, right during the onset of the global pandemic. The team at FIFTYEIGHT PRODUCTS had worked for three years on realizing the bright idea of a new kind of light fixture cover. In March 2020 it finally hit the market!
From a design perspective, CEELINGS present a significant style upgrade for the canopies on top of ceiling lamps. Otherwise a ‘wasted space’ when it comes to stylish designs, the ceiling light fixture hangings now shine with new life.
The CEELINGS are available in two designs of three-dimensional ornaments: First, the ‘Handful of Light’ is an oversized hand that dangles a pendant lamp from the ceiling. And second, ‘Happy Hermann’ is a charming character that brings new life and emotions to the home.

The design and choice of materials in our products always prioritize longevity. We are committed to high environmental standards in our production. What’s more, our CEELINGS are assembled in a sheltered workshop in the town of Frankfurt.
Since launch, CEELINGS have come to decorate boutique hotels, designer stores and private homes across the world. The canopies have also proven hot sellers on U.S. ecommerce platforms such as Touch of Modern.
Now that they are officially award-winning, we hope to add more new top locations and lifestyle destinations to the mix. Level up your lights!
